TalkLife Workplace works well for employees who are working remotely or overseas as they can often feel isolated. Social connection is incredibly powerful and one of the key protection factors for people when they are struggling. We support over 26 languages.
TalkLife Workplace can integrate with other EAP or wellbeing services enabling users to move between platforms and quickly find appropriate support in the moment.
If we identify that a user is at risk of suicide that user is immediately removed from the peer support element of the platform and we quickly escalate them into our crisis support services. Our combination of machine learning and professional staff teams means we can do this within seconds, any time of day or night.
To join TalkLife Workplace users sign up using their company email address or voucher code. This enables us to verify their status as an employee via email.
TalkLife Workplace combines unique machine learning classifiers with professional staff to provide real time escalation and moderation at massive scale. We identify within milliseconds whether a user is at risk and use this information to provide timely, relevant support.
Our global trust and safety team work around the clock to remove inappropriate content, and users, within seconds. Administrators are professional staff trained in moderation and safeguarding with oversight of the platform 24/7. They work hand in hand with clinical staff who are there to support when someone is at a higher level of risk and they will ensure they get appropriate support. Our machine learning technology supports us to moderate at massive scale, instantly identifying when someone might be struggling and launching real-time interventions.
In addition, our peer support volunteers are platform users who have gone through our 6-8 week online training programme to provide them with peer support and active listening skills. Our volunteers are there to welcome others in the community and provide an extra layer of support as they navigate the ups and downs of life.

Only people whose place of work has signed up for TalkLife Workplace will be able to access the service.
The platform is anonymous and employees aren't allowed to share identifiable information.
TalkLife Workplace is an anonymous platform. Employees have the option to create profiles and share non identifiable information about themselves if they choose. They can also post completely anonymously. Employers will not know who is using the service. Employers will be provided with de-identified quarterly reporting which will include general information around the numbers of people using the service and key themes from the community. Employees using the service will be connecting to other employees from around the world, it is a global platform and not company specific.
We don’t allow private or identifiable information to be shared on the platform; TalkLife Workplace is an anonymous network and ensuring the safety of users is paramount. This includes company names, naming of individuals or sharing of personal details such as email addresses. The only circumstance under which anonymity may be broken is if a user expresses explicit intent to harm themselves or others, if there is a threat of terror or disclosure of underage abuse.
It isn’t easy to take those first steps to getting support. We provide a safe, soft entry point. A platform that feels familiar and intuitive and that is engaging, but one that is also safe and has been built from the ground up to support conversations around mental health. Stigma, fear of judgement and consequence stop many from getting the support they need. Our anonymous community encourages people to start talking and to see they’re not alone.
